Our library of math teaching ideas can be used with children who have Dyscalculia or to help children who are really struggling with understanding the concepts of math.
The library author - Sue Kerrigan is a private tutor, she uses these techniques with children who find math a struggle and with children who have dyscalculia. You can view our math resources here.
The techniques are also useful for children who have dyslexia. Sue always likes to start teaching children a new concept by starting with what they already know and understand.
Start teaching from a pint of understanding and you get lost along the way, you can always go back to the safety of what you know and understand and try a different path.
